Welcome in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. SMBC is the oldest Black Church in Kennesaw. Come and join us in our worship experience where the presence of the Lord is truly in this place. We are a congregation of "praisers and worshipers" whose sole purpose is "More of Him and less of us", as we strive to share the good news of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is our prayer that you will enjoy your visit to our site and will want to visit our church and join us as we give worship and praise to Him who continues to do exceedingly and abundantly above all we can ask or think, for 131 years and still counting. As we press toward the mark of our higher calling in Jesus Christ, we invite you to join us on our earthly journey which will ensure that we all arrive at the place where we all can join in the heavenly choir singing “…Holy, holy, holy. Lord God, the Almighty, who was, who is and who is to come”. Rev 4:8 Join us in one of our Worship experience as we exalt the name of the Lord. 2741 South Main Street, Kennesaw, GA 30144. |

Mission and Vision We believe that as a Missionary Church, we have been given a directive to “…go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation.”… Mark 16:15 and to feed the hungry, give water to those who thirst; clothe the naked; care for the sick; visit those in prison; provide for the widows and orphans. Jesus said “…I assure you: Whatever you did for one of the least of these “brothers of Mine, you did for Me.” Matthew 25:40 Our vision is church with a heart for God, proclaiming the Word of God which will enable an atmosphere where the presence of Lord will show His glory. Habakkuk 2:2 write the vision and make it plain upon tablets that he may run that read it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie, though it tarry, wait for it, because it shall surely come, it will not tarry. |
